Dr. Allen Yu

Dr. Yu was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver. Immediately after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia, he opened his first dental practice here in Vancouver, where he has been practicing ever since. He is deeply grateful to all his patients for their trust and for welcoming him as both a friend and a part of their families over the years. One of his greatest joys is treating the children whose parents he first met as patients when they were children themselves.

Dr. Darren Yu

After deciding to follow in his parents’ footsteps, Darren enrolled in the Dentistry program at the University of British Columbia. Upon graduating, he joined his parents’ practice, where he continues to uphold their dedication to quality patient care. Committed to giving back to the community, Darren also serves as a part-time clinical instructor, teaching dentistry at UBC, where he shares his knowledge and passion for dentistry with the future generations of dental professionals.

Sandy

Sandy has been working alongside Dr. Allen Yu, her husband, ever since they graduated dental school at the University of British Columbia. She now enjoys working with their son, Dr. Darren Yu, and looks forward to welcoming their daughter-in-law, Dr. Leslie Liu, to the practice in the near future. Sandy particularly enjoys educating her patients about oral health and takes time to get to know every individual she cares for. She is dedicated to ensuring her patients’ comfort while providing the highest standard dental care.
